Personality: Devon is mischievious and full of life, she loves causing trouble but she is also very loyal and commanding. Because of her father she has always had an air of authority that most people do not have. She is a natural born leader and thus is why she joined the Dragon Riders. She always loved dragons and their intelligence is what drew her to them. She has yet to be matched with a dragon but she knows that it will be soon, she has that feeling deep within her that her dragon will choose her soon.

History: Cory was born into a noble family in Narada to Lord Gavin and Lady Gwyn. He was a happy and pudgy child who happily ran around and played with the other boys and tormented the cook by stealing sweets. He had it easy growing up but as he got a bit older all of his time went to the training field where he mastered and honed his skills with the sword from the age of seven till the age of seventeen where he met the girl of his dreamas and his impulsive nature became known.

He fell in love with another knights daughter who was only about a year younger than himself. He gained permission to court her and in time he won her hand in marriage. After they married two years latter he was blessed with a young daughter whom they named devon. Two years after that Cory became Captain of the Royal Guard, though his queen had yet to take the throne. After four more years his Leonna concieved once more and this time she died in childbirth. Cory was devastated and it took years for himself and his daughter to heal though he is sure his daughter never recovered from the loss of her mother. A few years later his daughter left to become a novice at the Dragon Sanctuary in Miztal.

Devon was always getting into trouble here as well and she used to steal from the other riders to establish herself as something, whether it was the bad guy or the good guy it mattered little to her. When she turned seventeen she became a rider though she had waited for quite some time before her dragon Scorpius chose her. Scorpius was an elder dragon who saw great potential in her and was nearing his five thousandth year before he chose her as his rider and made the bond.
