Tears Fall by Stacy Schildhauer
Tears fall
You're not there to catch them
I cry
But you won't hold me
I wait
Yet you desert me
I love you
But you hurt me
You make me crazy
With all these things you do
I sit in the rain
Looking to the hazy distance
Waiting for your return
But you haven't come back
Brief glimpses now and then
Yet still I wait.
I wait for love I can not find.
I wait for the return of my peace of mind
You find me when you need someone
But else I lay forgotten in your mind
My eyes shine bright
With those damn unshed tears
While I wait for you to come back
My Fears
Take hold and grow
Frozen over by ice and snow
Without your love to warm me
My world grows cold
You took the very center
And hid it away
The days go by
And still I think of you
My tears fall
And you don't catch them
